The California State Fair has been around for 158 years and will run from Thursday, July 14th - Sunday, July 31st. Events for over two weeks will feature themed attractions, an expanded kids park, motocross and car shows, horse racing, all kinds of vendors, crafts, and food. Mid-way carnival rides for the entire family, a beautiful California Wine tasting garden, and a great concert series line-up with a variety of popular artists.

The concert area has been improved to include VIP seating and is great for outdoor shows. The stage is inside the main gate near the water way that runs through the middle of the fairgrounds. The cove concert area has seats that face the stage and a grass area with wide steps off to one side. The concert events at The California State Fair have Gold Circle reserved seat ticket sales that begin on Thursday March 31st (click on Buy Tickets below - Does Not include Fair Admission). Otherwise general seating includes the price of fair admission. The Cal Expo Box Office will also sell tickets free of service-charges on select dates in July so check their website for details.
