The Inversions This extremely talented band is based out of the Sacramento area. With influences like the Kinks, Radiohead, Primus, The Rolling Stones and Tom Waits, they definitely have a sound of their own. The vocals are a cross between John Lennon meets Gordon Gano of the Violent Femmes, the upright bass gives them that original feel, the drums ranging from jazz to their rock steady power, and the lead guitarist varies between experimental soundscapes and traditional, 'Chet Atkins Style' unique blues professionally refined solos.
