Nada Brahma Music Ensemble This talented band was born in 1997 by 7-string guitarist, composer and arranger Matthew Grasso. The ensembles focal point is to freely synthesize musical forms from around the globe, which they do most graciously. Their main genre of music is World Culture and Latin, with that they aren't afraid to explore and mix Indian, Middle Eastern, Spanish/Flamenco, Jazz, and Western Classical into their style. They are thought of as 'Indian Classical Fusion,' playing original melody forms and rhythmic cycles. This talented ensemble was even nominated for a Sacramento SAMMIE 2005 award for Best World/Latin band. Check out their website for more info. |
