Capital Jazz Project This band's motto is to foster a greater appreciation for jazz through performance, outreach and education. CJP was formed in 1997 by seven Sacramento area musicians. Their concert themes consist of the Legendary Blue Note record label, Charlie Parker, Afro-Cuban Classics, and original music composed by CJP, just to name a few.
